FEES & HOME VISIT INFORMATION
I offer home visits during the day, evening, and on weekends​ dependent on my schedule. Telehealth appointments are also available when preferred and covered by your insurance​ (or self-pay)​. ​T​elehealth options are particularly convenient for consults regarding returning to work, starting solids, or weaning.

Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive an email from IntakeQ, my charting system. This email will prompt you to complete an intake form and sign a consent form, which must be finished before our visit. This ensures I can prepare thoroughly and maximize our time together with you and your baby.​ It will also go over the fee structure for travel fees.​ I do require payment for travel fees prior to our visit - click on this for more information.
For clients approved through The Lactation Network, you will receive 100% covered lactation visits (the number of visits depends on your plan) through your insurance company. The Lactation Network covers a wide range of PPO plans, including Aetna, Anthem, United, Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (VA CCN) through Optum Care in Regions 1, 2, and 3, Multiplan, some Blue Cross Blue Shield plans (Rhode Island and Illinois plans), Velocity, Sutter Health, Meritain, Imagine Health, First Health, and First Choice Health.
WILDFLOWER covers Cigna - you will receive 100% covered lactation visits through your insurance company,.

​We offer a 20% discount on the initial visit for Tricare Prime and Tricare Select customers. This discount is available if you are within a 10-mile radius of our Woodbridge, VA address.As an approved IBCLC through Tricare Prime and Tricare Select, I've become aware of some challenges patients have faced with reimbursement in 2025. While I am actively working with Humana/Tricare to resolve these issues, I cannot guarantee reimbursement at this time.
If you are a self-pay visit (your insurance company does not work through Lactation Network or Wildflower):
Cost for the initial visit is $250. This includes up to 1.5 -2 hours spent working with mother and baby in the comfort of their own home. If any extra visits are needed, they will be discounted to $200 / visit.

I truly believe health care and lactation care is your right. Women deserve access to a lactation consultant. After your visit, I will give you a Superbill to present to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Unfortunately, I am unable to guarantee reimbursement, but I will do everything in my power to help out.
