FEES & HOME VISIT INFORMATION
Home visits are available days, evenings and weekends. I also do telehealth where insurance allows when preferred. (This are also good options for going back to work, starting solids or weaning consults).

Once we make the appointment, you will receive an e-mail from IntakeQ, my charting system, that will require you to fill out the intake form and sign a consent form. This will need to be completed prior to my arrival. This will allow me to prepare for your visit and spend more time with you and the baby.

If you have been approved through Lactation Network, you will receive 100% covered unlimited lactation visits as needed through your insurance company. THE LACTATION NETWORK covers a large number of PPO plans. Most Blue Cross Blue Shield (not Federal), Anthem, United, Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (VA CCN) through Optum Care in Regions 1, 2 and 3, Multiplan.
WILDFLOWER covers Cigna - you will receive 100% covered lactation visits through your insurance company,.

Military discount is available for Tricare Prime or Tricare Select customers on the initial visit in the amount of 20% off if you are in a 10 mile radius of our address in Woodbridge, VA. I am an approved IBCLC through Tricare Prime and Tricare Select - when you submit through Tricare, you should be reimbursed a portion to all of your payment.
If you are a self-pay visit (your insurance company does not work through Lactation Network or Wildflower):
Cost for the initial visit is $250. This includes up to 1.5 -2 hours spent working with mother and baby in the comfort of their own home. I do not charge any additional travel fees. If any extra visits are needed, they will be discounted to $200 / visit.

I truly believe health care and lactation care is your right. Women deserve access to a lactation consultant. After your visit, I will give you a Superbill to present to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Unfortunately, I am unable to guarantee reimbursement, but I will do everything in my power to help out.
